The restoration project‘s primary objective is to restore the identity of the historic court within a more general framework of preserving and developing the area. Due to the site‘s particular environmental location, the impact of the new technological systems has been carefully assessed. The general idea of the project is to create an environment where the normal activities of living are married with much broader concepts such as psychophysical well-being, personal care and contact with nature.

In order to satisfy these conditions we chose the new europlus-silentium radiant floor heating/cooling system by Eurotherm. The system boasts excellent thermal performance and an exceptional ability to reduce noise from footsteps. The system was laid on a wooden floor, partly recovered from existing elements, in keeping with the project‘s desire to preserve as much of the original structure as possible.
