
The Dehumidifier 300 D is a refrigeration-cycle unit developed for indoor suspended-ceiling applications. The unit is capable of performing isothermal dehumidification during the summer period, meaning it can dehumidify the air and reintroduce it into the room at a temperature close to that at which it was extracted. More specifically, dehumidification occurs through contact between humid air and the cold surface of the unit’s heat exchanger, on which condensation droplets will form; these are then collected and discharged via the dedicated drain. For correct dehumidification, the unit must be connected to a chilled-water circuit and to the condensate drain system. During both the summer and winter seasons, the unit can be operated in ventilation with sanitization mode, which does not require use of the refrigeration cycle or the hydronic heat exchanger.
The main components of the unit are the refrigeration circuit (evaporator, condenser, hermetic compressor, and capillary tube), a hydronic heat exchanger, and a fan to move the airflow. The unit is equipped with a coarse filter positioned to facilitate maintenance and with a low-energy UV lamp. The supply acoustic plenum (Art. 7510030105) and the return plenum (Art. 7510030204) are available as optional accessories and are not included. Thanks to the plenums, it is possible to easily connect the unit’s rectangular spigots to 1xD200 circular connections, ensuring full compatibility with AirClima, Eurotherm’s air distribution system.
The unit is equipped with an onboard display to facilitate start-up and maintenance procedures. The unit is designed to be managed via Eurotherm’s SmartComfort 365 control (recommended) via Modbus RTU RS485 or through digital enable signals.
